Barwick Day Nursery offers outstanding childcare in the leafy suburb of Barwick-in-Elmet, Leeds, West Yorkshire. We have taken the key elements from both a nursery and childminder to create a dynamic hybrid of the two. At Barwick Day Nursery we pride ourselves on delivering excellent quality childcare to each child in our care offering a “home from home’’ environment where children are encouraged to engage in new experiences and opportunities to learn through play.

Our Acorn room: Is designed for only 6 babies with up to 3 staff to make your baby feel like they are home from home and as close to the attention and environment they would get at home.

Children have access to sand, water, craft, mark making, construction, role play, small world, mathematical, books and sensory activities in the room. Our activities will be both lead by adult and child, we will look at topics of learning but if your child finds something that they are more interested in our staff or trained to be child lead but to offer an educational experience through play while keeping your child engaged with each activity.

Friendly Environment
My daughter thoroughly enjoys going to Barwick day nursery. She has commented that the food is delicious. She likes the fact that she gets variety with where she plays..... could be at the local park, in the garden or in the new play room. She has got some nice friends there too.
My son has been going to Barwick day nursery a few weeks now and I cannot recommend it enough!! He is so happy and has gained so much confidence! He has even started to say proper words! The staff are fantastic they not only care for my son I can see they love him too! He has bonded so well with them both! I am one happy parent!!
My daughter has been going to Barwick day nursery for the last 2 years and she loves it. Great setting, amazing staff and they keep you fully up to date with progress through both a daily catch up as you collect them, and there is also an app which they use very well to make sure you know what's happening, what they are eating etc while you are at work. Couldn't recommend more.
